Engagement, Bridal & Couples Photo Sessions

A photo session is the easiest way to get comfortable in front of a camera before your wedding day.

Most couples we work with aren't models, and they'll tell you straight up that being photographed feels a little awkward. That's normal. An engagement or couples session gives you an hour to figure out what that feels like, with no timeline pressure and no guests watching. By the time your wedding comes around, it's familiar.

We shoot engagement, bridal, and couples sessions in both New Orleans and Houston. One hour, one photographer, and a location you pick (we'll help if you're not sure).

Where to shoot in New Orleans

If you already have a spot in mind, great. If not, here's where we shoot most often.

City Park
- New Orleans Museum of Art and the Big Lake area
- Historic Oak Grove
- Morning Call and the Popp Bandstand
- New Orleans Botanical Garden (permit fee may apply)

Audubon Park
- Tree of Life and the surrounding oaks
- Newman Bandstand
- Gumbel Fountain

French Quarter and Downtown
- St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square (permit fee may apply)
- Royal Street and the residential blocks
- The French Quarter waterfront
- Crescent Park, along the river with the CBD skyline behind you

Uptown and Garden District
- Lower Garden District mansions around Washington and Prytania
- Magazine Street shops and storefronts

A little further out
- Algiers Point, across the river with the skyline and Quarter in view
- Magnolia Bridge and the Bayou St. John area

Not sure which one fits? Tell us the vibe you're after (green and quiet, city and architectural, water and skyline) and we'll point you somewhere good.

Where to shoot in Houston

Houston gives you a lot of range in a small radius.

  • Hermann Park

  • Houston Arboretum

  • Buffalo Bayou Park

  • Eleanor Tinsley Park

  • Sam Houston Park

  • The Waterwall

  • Sabine Street Bridge

  • Discovery Green

  • Downtown + Theatre District

  • McGovern Gardens

  • Galveston + the Strand

If you have a spot that means something to you, we'd rather shoot there.

How It works

It's short and simple. You pick a date and a location, we confirm your photographer, and you show up. We'll direct you for the posed shots and then mostly let you two be yourselves for the rest of it.

You'll get your raw gallery about a week after the session. Once you tell us which images you want edited, your final 65 edited photos come back in three to five weeks.

Ready to book a session?

Send us your preferred date, your city, and a location if you have one in mind. We'll confirm availability and get you on the calendar.
